Good advice, well written. This book uses real life stories to expose how precarious the survival of a small business can be without a plan ensuring its continuous operation. Included are multiple short stories that offer solutions together with enlightening, intriguing entertainment which can be read in one sitting or as bedtime stories.
The greatest immediate threat to small businesses operated by one controlling person is that individual's sudden inability to participate in operations, not the economy. Who controls the future and how the business will continue daily operations can be established either: - Through prior planning that includes a legal transfer of owner authority and an operational plan about how to operate the business.
- Or, if no plan is in place, state statutes will determine the business' fate. The state route is very time consuming and expensive.
